Meaning¶
यह श्लोक महिषासुर मर्दिनी देवी की स्तुति है। इसमें देवी को शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाली, अदम्य शक्ति धारण करने वाली, भगवान शिव के दूतों द्वारा सम्मानित, प्रमथगणों की अधिपति, पापों का नाश करने वाली और हिमालय की पुत्री के रूप में वर्णित किया गया है।
हे महिषासुर का मर्दन करने वाली देवी, आपकी जय हो! आप युद्ध में दुष्ट शत्रुओं का वध करने के लिए उद्यत हैं, अदम्य और अविनाशी शक्ति धारण करती हैं। आप चतुर विचारों में अग्रणी, भगवान शिव के दूतों द्वारा सम्मानित और प्रमथगणों की अधिपति हैं। आप पाप, बुरी इच्छाओं, दुष्ट विचारों और दानवों के विनाशक हैं। आप रमणीय जटाजूट धारण करने वाली और पर्वतराज हिमालय की पुत्री हैं।
