Meaning¶
यह श्लोक देवी दुर्गा की स्तुति है, जिसमें उन्हें पर्वतराज हिमालय की पुत्री, पृथ्वी को आनंदित करने वाली, संसार को प्रसन्न करने वाली, विष्णु को आनंदित करने वाली और महिषासुर का मर्दन करने वाली बताया गया है।
हे पर्वतराज हिमालय की पुत्री, पृथ्वी को आनंदित करने वाली, संसार को प्रसन्न करने वाली, नंदनवन में पूजी जाने वाली, श्रेष्ठ विन्ध्याचल पर्वत पर निवास करने वाली, भगवान विष्णु को आनंदित करने वाली, इंद्र द्वारा पूजित, हे भगवती, हे नीले कण्ठ वाले शिव की पत्नी, विशाल भुजाओं वाली, भस्म धारण करने वाली, महिषासुर का मर्दन करने वाली, सुन्दर जटाजूट वाली, पर्वत की पुत्री, तुम्हारी जय हो, जय हो!
यह श्लोक देवी दुर्गा की शक्ति और महिमा का वर्णन करता है। यह उनकी कृपा और आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने के लिए गाया जाता है। यह महिषासुर मर्दिनी स्तोत्र का एक महत्वपूर्ण भाग है।
