Meaning¶
यह श्लोक देवी दुर्गा की स्तुति है, जिसमें उन्हें शरणागतों को अभय देने वाली, तीनों लोकों के कष्टों को हरने वाली और महिषासुर का वध करने वाली बताया गया है। इसमें उनके सौंदर्य और शक्ति का वर्णन है।
हे शरण में आये हुए शत्रुओं की स्त्रियों को भी अभयदान देने वाली, हे वीरों में श्रेष्ठ, अभय प्रदान करने वाली! तीनों लोकों के मस्तक पर स्थित शूल (पीड़ा) का विरोध करने वाली और अपने मस्तक पर निर्मल त्रिशूल धारण करने वाली! दुमि-दुमि की ध्वनि से स्वर्ग में देवताओं की दुंदुभी (नगाड़े) के नाद से दिशाओं को गुंजायमान करने वाली! हे महिषासुर का मर्दन करने वाली, सुन्दर जटाजूट वाली, पर्वतराज हिमालय की पुत्री, तुम्हारी जय हो, जय हो!
