असित गिरि समं स्यात् कज्जलम् सिन्धु पात्रे सुरतरुवर शाखा लेखनी पत्रम् उर्वी ।

लिखति यदि गृहित्वा शारदा सर्वकालं तदपि तव गुणानां ईश पारं न याति

Asit giri samaṁ syāt kajjalam sindhu pātre surataruvara śākhā lekhani patram ūrvī ।

likhati yadi gṛhītva śāradā sarvakālam tadapi tava guṇānāṁ īśa pāram na yāti ॥

Meaning

यह श्लोक भगवान के असीम गुणों की प्रशंसा करता है। यह बताता है कि भगवान के गुणों का वर्णन करने के लिए पूरी दुनिया का उपयोग करने पर भी, वे पूर्ण रूप से वर्णित नहीं किए जा सकते।

यदि सारा संसार भी स्याही हो जाए, समुद्र पात्र हो, और वृक्षों की शाखाएँ लेखनी हों, और पृथ्वी कागज हो जाए, और यदि शारदा देवी को हाथ में लेकर कोई पूरे समय लिखता रहे, तब भी हे ईश्वर, आपके गुणों का पार पाना संभव नहीं है।

यह श्लोक ईश्वर की महिमा और असीम शक्ति को दर्शाता है। यह हमें ईश्वर के प्रति समर्पण और भक्ति का महत्व बताता है।

This shloka praises the limitless qualities of God. It states that even using the entire world to describe the qualities of God, they cannot be fully described.

If the entire world were to become ink, the ocean were to become the inkpot, the branches of trees were to become the pen, and the earth were to become the paper, and if someone were to write continuously holding Goddess Sharada (Saraswati) in their hand, even then, O Lord, it is not possible to fully describe Your virtues.

This shloka demonstrates the glory and infinite power of God. It tells us about the importance of devotion and surrender to God.

यदि काला पर्वत स्याही के समान हो जाए, समुद्र पात्र हो, और उत्तम वृक्षों की शाखाएँ लेखनी हों, और पृथ्वी कागज हो जाए।

If the black mountain were to become ink, the ocean were to become the inkpot, and the branches of good trees were to become the pen, and the earth were to become the paper.

यदि कोई शारदा देवी को हाथ में लेकर हमेशा लिखता रहे, तब भी हे ईश्वर, आपके गुणों का पार पाना संभव नहीं है।
