धराधरसुता तटे लसद्विलासचेलके दृगञ्चलस्फुरत्करालपलभासुरे दृशाम् ।

दिगन्तरालभूतले प्रवर्तिताण्डवे क्षपाकरोरुचिसभाजनं तनोतु मे शिवः ॥

ಧರಾಧರಸುತಾ ತಟೇ ಲಸದ್ವಿಲಾಸಚೇಲಕೇ ದೃಗಂಚಲಸ್ಫುರತ್ಕರಾಲಪಲಭಾಸುರೇ ದೃಶಾಂ ।

ದಿಗಂತರಾಲಭೂತಲೇ ಪ್ರವರ್ತಿತಾಂಡವೇ ಕ್ಷಪಾಕರೋರುಚಿಸಭಾಜನಂ ತನೋತು ಮೇ ಶಿವಃ ॥

Meaning¶

ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಶಿವನ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ, ಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತಿಯ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪರ್ವತ ರಾಜನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಪಾರ್ವತಿಯ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ, ಆಕರ್ಷಕವಾದ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ, ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಕಾಂತಿಯಿಂದ ಭಯಾನಕವಾದ ಹಾವಿನ ಹೊಳಪನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಮತ್ತು ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಂಡವವಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶಿವನು, ಚಂದ್ರನಂತಹ ಕಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಿ.

ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಶಿವನು ಪಾರ್ವತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ಆತನ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಆತನಿಂದ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಧರಾಧರಸುತಾ. ಧರಾಧರ ಎಂದರೆ ಪರ್ವತ, ಸುತಾ ಎಂದರೆ ಮಗಳು. ಪರ್ವತ ರಾಜನ ಮಗಳು, ಪಾರ್ವತಿ.		Dharadhara means mountain, and suta means daughter. Daughter of the mountain (king), Parvati.
तटे	ತಟೇ		taṭe
ತಟೇ. ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ, ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ.		On the shore. At the bank, on the coast.
लसत्	ಲಸತ್		lasat
ಲಸತ್. ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವ, ಹೊಳೆಯುವ.		Shining, glittering.
विलास	ವಿಲಾಸ		vilāsa
ವಿಲಾಸ. ಆಕರ್ಷಕವಾದ, ಸೊಗಸಾದ.		Charming. Attractive, elegant.
चेलके	ಚೇಲಕೇ		chelake

May Shiva bestow peace upon my mind, which is like the moon.
