प्लवन्निलापमध्यगा सुरारिदर्पदर्दनं मुदा मुहुर्विबोधयन्नमस्तु मे शिवः ॥

Meaning¶
यह श्लोक भगवान शिव के सौंदर्य और शक्ति का वर्णन करता है। उनके नेत्र चंचल हैं, उनके ललाट पर चंद्रमा शोभायमान है, और उनकी आभा दिव्य है। वे देवताओं के शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले हैं।
जिनके नेत्र चंचल कलाओं से परिपूर्ण हैं, जिनके ललाट पर चन्द्रमा विराजमान है, जिनकी आभा अत्यंत उज्ज्वल और सुंदर है, जो वायु के मध्य में तैरते हुए प्रतीत होते हैं, जो देवताओं के शत्रुओं के दर्प को नष्ट करते हैं, उन शिव को बार-बार प्रसन्नतापूर्वक प्रणाम करता हूँ।
यह श्लोक शिव तांडव स्तोत्र का एक महत्वपूर्ण भाग है। यह भगवान शिव की महिमा का वर्णन करता है और भक्तों को उनकी आराधना करने के लिए प्रेरित करता है।
This verse describes the beauty and power of Lord Shiva. His eyes are playful, the moon adorns his forehead, and his aura is divine. He is the destroyer of the enemies of the gods.
I bow to Shiva, who has playful eyes, whose forehead is adorned with the moon, whose radiance is bright and beautiful, who seems to float in the middle of the air, who destroys the pride of the enemies of the gods, and who is awakened again and again with joy.
This verse is an important part of the Shiva Tandava Stotram. It describes the glory of Lord Shiva and inspires devotees to worship him.
