सहस्रलोचनप्रभृतिशेषलेखरादिभि- र्हिपुष्पधूलिधूसरोर्ध्वलेनदीयकम् ।
भुजङ्गराजमालया निबद्धजाटजूटकः श्रियै चिराय जायतां चकोरबन्धुशेखरः ॥

Meaning¶
यह श्लोक भगवान शिव की महिमा और सौंदर्य का वर्णन करता है। यह उनकी सर्वशक्तिमानता और करुणा का प्रतीक है। इस श्लोक का पाठ करने से भक्त को सुख, शांति और समृद्धि की प्राप्ति होती है।
जिनके ऊपर सहस्त्रों नेत्रों वाले इंद्र आदि देवताओं द्वारा अर्पित फूलों की धूलि धूसरित होकर बिखरती है, जिन्होंने सर्पों के राजा वासुकि को माला के रूप में धारण कर अपनी जटाओं को बांधा है, वे चन्द्रमा को धारण करने वाले भगवान शिव चिरकाल के लिए हमें समृद्धि प्रदान करें।
इस श्लोक में भगवान शिव के सौंदर्य और वैभव का वर्णन है। देवतागण उन पर फूल अर्पित करते हैं, सर्पराज वासुकि उनकी माला हैं, और चंद्रमा उनके सिर पर विराजमान है। कवि उनसे चिरकाल तक समृद्धि की प्रार्थना करता है।

May Lord Shiva, whose head is covered with the dust of flowers offered by deities like Indra with his thousands of eyes, whose matted hair is bound with the king of serpents as a garland, and who wears the moon as a crown, bestow prosperity on us for a long time.
