The Shloka¶
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते
मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा
ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
karmaṇye vādhikāras te mā phaleṣu kadācana ।
mā karma-phala-hetu-bhūr mā te saṅgo ‘stvakarmaṇi ॥
Meaning¶
यह श्लोक कर्मयोग के सार को बताता है - बिना फल की इच्छा किए कर्म करने का महत्व।
यह श्लोक हमें सिखाता है कि हमें अपने कर्तव्य का पालन करना चाहिए बिना किसी परिणाम की चिंता किए। यह हमें आसक्ति और अहंकार से मुक्त होने में मदद करता है।
कर्म पर ही तुम्हारा अधिकार है, फलों पर कभी नहीं। फल की इच्छा से कर्म न करो, और कर्म के फल में आसक्त न हो। कर्म से दूर रहो, यही कर्मयोग है।
This shloka encapsulates the essence of Karma Yoga - the importance of performing actions without attachment to their results.
This shloka teaches us to perform our duty without worrying about the consequences. It helps us to detach from attachment and ego.
You have the right to work only, but never to the fruits of the work. Do not be motivated by the fruits of action, nor be attached to inaction.
Sentence - 1¶
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।

Meaning¶
कर्म पर ही तुम्हारा अधिकार है, फलों पर कभी नहीं।
You have the right to work only, but never to the fruits of the work.
