इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर

शेष मुनि मन रंजनं ।

मम् हृदय कंज निवास कुरु

कामादि खलदल गंजनं ॥

Meaning / Summary

यह श्लोक भगवान राम के प्रति तुलसीदास जी की भक्ति और समर्पण को दर्शाता है। यह हृदय की शुद्धि और बुरे विचारों के नाश के महत्व को भी बताता है।

तुलसीदास कहते हैं, हे शंकर! हे शेषमुनि! आप मेरे मन को प्रसन्न करने वाले हैं। मेरे हृदय रूपी कमल में निवास करें और वासना आदि बुरे विचारों के समूह को नष्ट करें।

तुलसीदास जी भगवान राम से अपने हृदय में निवास करने और वासना आदि बुरे विचारों को नष्ट करने की प्रार्थना करते हैं।

इस श्लोक में तुलसीदास जी भगवान राम से प्रार्थना करते हुए कहते हैं कि हे शंकर रूप राम, हे शेषमुनि! आप मेरे मन को आनंदित करने वाले हैं। आप मेरे हृदय में निवास करें, जो कमल के समान है, और काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, अहंकार आदि बुरे विचारों के समूह को नष्ट कर दें। तुलसीदास जी भगवान राम से अपने हृदय को शुद्ध करने और उन्हें भक्ति प्रदान करने की प्रार्थना कर रहे हैं।
