अयि दीन दयालु तया कृपयैव त्वया भवितव्यम् उमे

अयि जगतो जननी कृपयासि तथा अनुमितासि रते

यदुचितम् अत्र भवत्यररि कुरुतादुरुतापम् अपा कुरुते

जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ॥

ayi jagato jananī kṛpayāsi tathā anumitāsi rate

yaducitam atra bhavatyarari kurutādurutāpam apā kurute

jaya jaya he mahiṣāsuramardini ramyakapardini śailasute ॥

Meaning

यह श्लोक देवी दुर्गा की स्तुति है, जिसमें उन्हें दीनदयालु, जगत जननी और करुणामयी बताया गया है। भक्त उनसे अपने कष्टों को दूर करने और उचित कार्य करने की प्रार्थना करता है।

हे दीनों पर दया करने वाली उमा, अपनी दया से ही आप ऐसी हैं। हे जगत की माता, आप कृपा स्वरूप हैं, ऐसा अनुमान है। जो उचित हो, वह आप यहाँ करें और मेरे घोर कष्टों को दूर करें। महिषासुर का मर्दन करने वाली, सुंदर जटाजूट वाली, पर्वतराज हिमालय की पुत्री, देवी पार्वती की जय हो!

यह श्लोक देवी दुर्गा की शक्ति और करुणा को दर्शाता है। यह बताता है कि वे अपने भक्तों के दुखों को दूर करने और उन्हें सही मार्ग पर ले जाने में सक्षम हैं।
