The Shloka

अयि दीन दयालु तया कृपयैव त्वया भवितव्यम् उमे

अयि जगतो जननी कृपयासि तथा अनुमितासि रते

यदुचितम् अत्र भवत्यररि कुरुतादुरुतापम् अपा कुरुते

जय जय हे महिषासुरमर्दिनि रम्यकपर्दिनि शैलसुते ॥

Ayi dina dayālu tayā kṛpayeva tvayā bhavitavyam ume

Ayi jagato janani kṛpayāsi tathā anumitāsi rate

Yaducitam atra bhavatyarari kurutādurutāpam apā kurate

Jaya jaya he mahiṣāsuramardinī ramyakapardinī śailasute ॥

Meaning

यह श्लोक देवी दुर्गा की स्तुति है, जिसमें उनकी दया, करुणा और महिषासुर का वध करने की शक्ति का वर्णन किया गया है।
