हे जगदम्बे, हे माँ, कदम्ब के वन में वास करने वाली, हंसी में रमण करने वाली! पर्वतों के राजा हिमालय के शिखर पर स्थित रत्नों की निर्मल कान्ति से देदीप्यमान, शहद की तरह मीठी, मधु और कैटभ का नाश करने वाली, दैत्यों का नाश करने वाली, ताप हरने वाली! हे महिषासुर का मर्दन करने वाली, सुन्दर जटाजूट वाली, पर्वतराज हिमालय की पुत्री, तेरी जय हो, जय हो!
