Meaning¶
यह श्लोक भगवान शिव के भक्तो के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। इसका पाठ करने से शांति और आनंद की प्राप्ति होती है, तथा पापों का नाश होता है। यह वाराणसी में भगवान विश्वनाथ के महत्व को दर्शाता है।
मैं उन श्री विश्वनाथ की शरण लेता हूँ, जो आनंद वन (वाराणसी) में सानंद निवास करते हैं, जो आनंद के मूल हैं, जिन्होंने पापों के समूह को नष्ट कर दिया है, जो वाराणसी के स्वामी हैं, और जो अनाथों के नाथ (रक्षक) हैं।
यह श्लोक भगवान विश्वनाथ (शिव) की स्तुति है, जो वाराणसी में विराजमान हैं। इसमें भक्त भगवान से शरण और सुरक्षा की प्रार्थना करता है।

I take refuge in Shri Vishwanath, who happily resides in the garden of bliss (Varanasi), who is the root of bliss, who has destroyed the multitude of sins, who is the Lord of Varanasi, and who is the protector of the unprotected.
