Meaning¶
यह श्लोक दुर्योधन के आत्मविश्वास और उसकी सेना की शक्ति का प्रदर्शन करता है। वह द्रोणाचार्य को यह बताना चाहता है कि पांडवों की सेना भले ही कितनी भी मजबूत दिखे, उसकी अपनी सेना में भी ऐसे अनगिनत योद्धा हैं जो न केवल संख्या में अधिक हैं, बल्कि युद्धकला में भी अत्यंत निपुण हैं और उसके प्रति पूर्ण रूप से वफादार हैं। यह श्लोक दुर्योधन की मानसिक स्थिति को भी दर्शाता है जहाँ वह अपनी सेना की क्षमताओं को बढ़ा-चढ़ाकर पेश कर रहा है और अपने गुरु को आश्वस्त करने का प्रयास कर रहा है।
और भी अनेक शूरवीर हैं, जिन्होंने मेरे लिए अपने प्राण न्योछावर कर दिए हैं। वे सभी नाना प्रकार के शस्त्रों से सुसज्जित और युद्धकला में अत्यंत निपुण हैं।
दुर्योधन द्रोणाचार्य से कहता है कि हमारी सेना में मेरे लिए प्राण न्योछावर करने को तैयार अनेक शूरवीर हैं, जो विभिन्न शस्त्रों से सुसज्जित और युद्धकला में अत्यंत निपुण हैं।
दुर्योधन द्रोणाचार्य से कहते हैं कि हमारी सेना में ऐसे कई अन्य महान और पराक्रमी योद्धा भी उपस्थित हैं जिन्होंने मेरे हित के लिए, मेरे उद्देश्य की पूर्ति के लिए अपने जीवन को त्यागने का संकल्प लिया है, अर्थात् वे मेरे लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति देने को भी तैयार हैं। ये सभी योद्धा अनेक प्रकार के अस्त्र-शस्त्रों से सुसज्जित हैं, चाहे वे तीर-कमान हों, तलवारें हों, गदाएँ हों या अन्य कोई भी युद्ध उपकरण हो। वे सब युद्ध की कला में इतने प्रवीण और कुशल हैं कि उन्हें युद्ध का गहरा अनुभव है और वे किसी भी परिस्थिति में लड़ने में सक्षम हैं। दुर्योधन अपनी सेना की शक्ति और अपने योद्धाओं की निष्ठा पर जोर दे रहा है।
This verse highlights Duryodhana’s confidence and the perceived strength of his army. He aims to convey to Dronacharya that no matter how strong the Pandava army might appear, his own forces contain countless warriors who are not only numerous but also exceedingly skilled in warfare and completely loyal to him. This shloka also reflects Duryodhana’s psychological state where he is inflating the capabilities of his army and trying to reassure his guru, perhaps out of a mix of genuine belief and a need to project strength.
And there are many other heroes who have sacrificed their lives for my sake. All of them are equipped with various kinds of weapons and are highly skilled in warfare.
Duryodhana tells Dronacharya that there are many other brave warriors in his army, ready to sacrifice their lives for him, who are equipped with various weapons and are highly skilled in warfare.
Duryodhana continues his assessment of his army, addressing Dronacharya. He states that beyond those already mentioned, there are many other great and valiant warriors present in their army who have resolved to abandon their lives for his sake, meaning they are ready to sacrifice their very existence for his cause and victory. He emphasizes that all these warriors are well-equipped with various types of arms and weapons, including bows, arrows, swords, maces, and any other implements of war. Furthermore, he asserts that they are all highly proficient and expert in the art of warfare, possessing deep experience and capability to fight in any given circumstance. Duryodhana is here trying to instill confidence in Dronacharya and himself by highlighting the strength of his forces and the unwavering loyalty and skill of his individual warriors.
