मम योनिर्महद् ब्रह्म तस्मिन्गर्भं दधाम्यहम् ।

सम्भवः सर्वभूतानां ततो भवति भारत ॥

ఓ భారతా, మహద్ బ్రహ్మము నా యోని; దానిలో నేను గర్భమును ధరింపజేస్తాను.

ఓ భారతీయుడా, దాని వలననే సమస్త జీవులు జన్మిస్తాయి.

Mama yonir mahad brahma tasmin garbham dadhamyaham ।

Sambhavah sarva-bhutanam tato bhavati bharata ॥

Meaning / Summary¶

ఈ శ్లోకం ప్రకృతి మరియు పురుషుల సంబంధాన్ని తెలియజేస్తుంది. భగవంతుడు సృష్టికి మూలమని, ప్రకృతి ద్వారానే సృష్టి జరుగుతుందని వివరిస్తుంది. ఇది ద్వైత మరియు అద్వైత సిద్ధాంతాల సమ్మేళనంగా చూడవచ్చు.

ఓ భారతా, మహత్తరమైన బ్రహ్మము నా గర్భాశయము, దానిలో నేను జీవులను ఉంచుతాను. ఆ కారణము చేతనే సమస్త ప్రాణులూ ఉద్భవిస్తున్నాయి.

శ్రీకృష్ణుడు అర్జునుడితో, ప్రకృతి తన గర్భాశయమని, తాను దానిలో జీవులను ఉంచుతానని, దాని వలననే సమస్త ప్రాణులూ పుడతాయని చెబుతున్నాడు.

ఈ శ్లోకంలో, శ్రీకృష్ణుడు అర్జునుడికి ప్రకృతి (మహద్ బ్రహ్మము) తన గర్భాశయమని, తాను దానిలో జీవులను ఉంచుతానని చెబుతున్నాడు. దీని ఫలితంగానే సమస్త ప్రాణులూ పుడతాయని వివరిస్తున్నాడు. ఇక్కడ, ప్రకృతిని తల్లిగా, భగవంతుడిని తండ్రిగా భావించవచ్చు. ప్రకృతి భగవంతుని శక్తితో జీవులను ఉత్పత్తి చేస్తుంది.

This verse highlights the relationship between Prakriti (nature) and Purusha (the Supreme Being). It explains that God is the source of creation, and creation takes place through nature. It can be seen as a synthesis of dualistic and non-dualistic philosophies.

O Bharata, the great Brahman is My womb; in that I cast the seed. From that, O descendant of Bharata, are born all beings.

Lord Krishna tells Arjuna that the great Brahman is His womb, and He casts the seed of life into it, from which all beings are born.

In this verse, Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna that the great Brahman (Prakriti or nature) is His womb, and He casts the seed (of life) into it. As a result, all beings are born. Here, Prakriti can be understood as the mother, and God as the father. Prakriti, empowered by God, gives rise to all living beings.
