Meaning / Summary¶
ఈ శ్లోకం ద్వారా అర్జునుడు, కర్మ యోగం యొక్క ఫలితం, దైవ సాక్షాత్కారం మరియు మరణ సమయంలో భగవంతుని స్మరించుకోవడం యొక్క ప్రాముఖ్యత గురించి తెలుసుకోవాలనుకుంటున్నాడు.
ఓ మధుసూదనా, ఈ శరీరంలో అధియజ్ఞుడు ఎవరు? అతను ఎలా ఉంటాడు? మరణించే సమయంలో నిన్ను ఆత్మ నియంత్రణ కలిగినవారు ఎలా తెలుసుకోగలరు?
అర్జునుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుడిని, శరీరంలో అధియజ్ఞుడు ఎవరు, అతనెలా ఉంటాడు, మరణ సమయంలో నిన్ను ఎలా తెలుసుకోవచ్చని అడుగుతున్నాడు.

Through this shloka, Arjuna wants to understand the result of Karma Yoga, divine realization, and the importance of remembering God at the time of death.
O Madhusudana, who is the Adhiyajna in this body, and how does He dwell herein? And how are You to be known at the time of death by those of controlled minds?
Arjuna asks Krishna, who is the Adhiyajna in the body, how does he dwell, and how can one know you at the time of death.
Arjuna is asking Krishna: O Madhusudana, who is the Lord of sacrifice residing in this body, and how does He reside here? And how can those with controlled minds know You at the time of death? What is the process to know you at the time of death?
