मनुष्याणां सहस्रेषु कश्चिद्यतति सिद्धये ।

यततामपि सिद्धानां कश्चिन्मां वेत्ति तत्त्वतः ॥

మనుష్యాణాం సహస్రేషు కశ్చిద్యతతి సిద్ధయే ।

యతతామపి సిద్ధానాం కశ్చిన్మాం వేత్తి తత్త్వతః ॥

manuṣyāṇāṁ sahasreṣu kaścid yatati siddhaye ।

yatatām api siddhānāṁ kaścin māṁ vetti tattvataḥ ॥

Meaning / Summary

ఈ శ్లోకం భగవంతుని తెలుసుకోవడం చాలా కష్టమని, దానికి తీవ్రమైన సాధన మరియు అంకితభావం అవసరమని తెలియజేస్తుంది.

వేలాది మంది మనుష్యులలో ఎవడో ఒకడు మాత్రమే సిద్ధిని పొందడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తాడు. ప్రయత్నించే సిద్ధులలో కూడా ఎవడో ఒకడు మాత్రమే నన్ను నిజంగా తెలుసుకుంటాడు.

వేలాది మందిలో కొందరు మాత్రమే సిద్ధి కోసం ప్రయత్నిస్తారు, ప్రయత్నించిన వారిలో కొందరు మాత్రమే నన్ను నిజంగా తెలుసుకుంటారు.

ఈ శ్లోకంలో శ్రీకృష్ణుడు తనను తెలుసుకోవడం ఎంత కష్టమో అర్జునుడికి వివరిస్తున్నాడు. వేలాది మంది మనుష్యులలో చాలా కొద్ది మంది మాత్రమే ఆధ్యాత్మిక సాధన చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తారు. అలా ప్రయత్నించేవారిలో కూడా పరిపూర్ణతను పొందిన కొద్దిమంది మాత్రమే భగవంతుని యొక్క నిజమైన స్వరూపాన్ని తెలుసుకుంటారు. ఇది ఆత్మ సాక్షాత్కారం యొక్క అరుదైన స్వభావాన్ని నొక్కి చెబుతుంది.

This verse highlights the difficulty of truly knowing God and the need for dedicated practice and devotion.

Among thousands of men, hardly one strives for perfection; and even among those who have attained perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth.

Out of thousands, few strive for perfection, and out of those who strive, few truly know Me.

In this verse, Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna how difficult it is to know Him. Out of thousands of people, only a few strive for spiritual perfection. And even among those who strive, only a rare few who have attained perfection truly understand the nature of the Divine. It emphasizes the rarity of self-realization.

వేలాది మంది మనుష్యులలో ఎవడో ఒకడు మాత్రమే సిద్ధిని పొందడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తాడు.

మనుష్యుల యొక్క ఇక్కడ ‘మనుష్యుల’ అంటే మానవ జాతికి చెందినవారు.			Among men Refers to human beings in general.
सहस्रेषु		సహస్రేషు		sahasreṣu
వేలల్లో సహస్రము అంటే వెయ్యి. సహస్రేషు అంటే వేల మందిలో.			Among thousands Refers to a large number, specifically thousands.
कश्चित्		కశ్చిత్		kaścid
ఎవడో ఒకడు చాలా అరుదుగా ఒక వ్యక్తి			Someone A rare individual.
यतति		యతతి		yatati
ఆధ్యాత్మిక సిద్ధి కోసం ప్రయత్నిస్తాడు			Strives Makes an effort, tries hard.
