अभयं सत्त्वसंशुद्धिर्ज्ञानयोगव्यवस्थितिः ।

दानं दमश्च यज्ञश्च स्वाध्यायस्तप आर्जवम् ॥

Meaning / Summary¶

இந்த ஸ்லோகம், ஒரு மனிதன் ஆன்மீக பாதையில் முன்னேறவும், உயர்ந்த நிலையை அடையவும் தேவையான முக்கிய குணங்களை விளக்குகிறது. இந்தக் குணங்களை வளர்ப்பதன் மூலம், ஒருவன் தன்னையும் உலகத்தையும் பற்றிய ஆழமான புரிதலைப் பெற முடியும்.

பகவான் கூறினார்: அச்சமின்மை, மனதின் தூய்மை, ஞானம் மற்றும் யோகாவில் நிலைத்திருத்தல், தானம், புலனடக்கம், வேள்வி, சுய ஆய்வு, தவம் மற்றும் நேர்மை.

இந்த ஸ்லோகத்தில், ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணர் தெய்விக குணங்களைப் பட்டியலிடுகிறார். அச்சமின்மை, மனத்தூய்மை, ஞானம் மற்றும் யோகாவில் நிலைத்திருத்தல், தானம், புலனடக்கம், வேள்வி, சுய ஆய்வு, தவம் மற்றும் நேர்மை ஆகியவை முக்கியமானவை என்று அவர் கூறுகிறார்.

ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணர் கூறுகிறார்: பயமின்மை, உள்ளத் தூய்மை, ஞானம் மற்றும் யோகப் பயிற்சியில் உறுதியாக நிலைத்திருத்தல், தர்மம் செய்தல், புலன்களை அடக்கி ஆளுதல், வேதங்களில் சொல்லப்பட்ட யாகங்களைச் செய்தல், சுயமாக வேதங்களைப் படித்தல், கடுமையான விரதங்களை மேற்க்கொள்ளுதல், மனமொழி மெய்களால் நேர்மையாக இருத்தல் போன்றவை தெய்விக குணங்கள் உடையவர்களை உருவாக்கும்.

This verse explains the key qualities needed for a person to progress on the spiritual path and attain a higher state. By cultivating these qualities, one can gain a deeper understanding of oneself and the world.

The Supreme Lord said: Fearlessness, purity of heart, steadfastness in knowledge and yoga, charity, control of the senses, sacrifice, study of the scriptures, austerity, and straightforwardness.

In this shloka, Lord Krishna lists the divine qualities. He states that fearlessness, purity of heart, steadfastness in knowledge and yoga, charity, control of the senses, sacrifice, study of the scriptures, austerity, and straightforwardness are important.

Lord Krishna says: Fearlessness; purity of inner being; constancy in applying Jnana-yoga for Self-realization; giving in charity; control of the senses; performance of Vedic sacrifices; study of the scriptures; practice of austerity; rectitude of mind, body and speech; these qualities are the divine attributes with which the righteous are born.
