मनुष्याणां सहस्रेषु कश्चिद्यतति सिद्धये ।

यततामपि सिद्धानां कश्चिन्मां वेत्ति तत्त्वतः ॥

மனுஷ்யாணாம் ஸஹஸ்ரேஷு கஶ்சித்யததி ஸித்தயே ।

யததாமபி ஸித்தானாம் கஶ்சிந்மாம் வேத்தி தத்த்வத: ॥

Meaning / Summary

இந்த ஸ்லோகம், ஆன்மீக பாதையில் முழுமை அடைவது எவ்வளவு கடினம் என்பதையும், இறைவனைப் பற்றிய உண்மையான அறிவு கிடைப்பது எவ்வளவு அரிது என்பதையும் எடுத்துரைக்கிறது. குருவின் அருளாலும் இறைவனின் அருளாலும் மட்டுமே இறைவனை அறிய முடியும் என்பதை இது வலியுறுத்துகிறது.

ஆயிரக்கணக்கான மனிதர்களில் ஒரு சிலரே ஆன்மீக நிறைவை அடைய முயற்சி செய்கிறார்கள். முயற்சி செய்பவர்களிலும், ஒரு சிலரே என்னை உள்ளபடி அறிகிறார்கள்.

ஆயிரக்கணக்கானோரில் ஒருவர் மட்டுமே ஆன்மீகத்தில் முழுமை பெற முயல்கிறார். அப்படி முயல்பவர்களிலும் ஒரு சிலரே என்னை உள்ளபடி அறிகிறார்கள்.

இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழும் எண்ணற்ற மனிதர்களில், ஒரு சிலரே மோட்சத்தை அடைய வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணத்துடன் முயற்சி செய்கிறார்கள். அவ்வாறு முயற்சி செய்பவர்களில் ஒரு சிலரே என்னை உண்மையாக அறிகிறார்கள். அதாவது, இறைவனை அடைவது என்பது மிகவும் அரிதான ஒன்று. லட்சக்கணக்கானவர்களில் ஒரு சிலரே இறைவனை அடைய முயற்சி செய்கிறார்கள். முயற்சி செய்தாலும், இறைவனைப் பற்றி முழுமையாக அறிவது என்பது மிகவும் கடினம். இறைவனைப் பற்றி அறிந்து கொள்வதற்கு குருவின் கருணையும், இறைவனின் அருளும் தேவை.

This verse highlights the rarity of achieving spiritual perfection and the difficulty in attaining true knowledge of God. It emphasizes that it is only by the grace of the Guru and the grace of God that one can know God in truth.

Among thousands of men, scarcely one strives for perfection, and even among those who have attained perfection, scarcely one knows Me in truth.

Out of many thousands of human beings, one may endeavor for perfection in spiritual realization. And out of those who have achieved such perfection, hardly one knows Me factually. It is very difficult to attain God. Even among those who try, very few succeed. Even among those who succeed, very few know God in truth. This is because it requires both the grace of the Guru and the grace of God.

ஆயிரக்கணக்கான மனிதர்களில் ஒரு சிலரே நிறைவை அடைய முயற்சி செய்கிறார்கள்.
