The Shloka¶

श्रीभगवानुवाच ।

मय्यासक्तमनाः पार्थ योगं युञ्जन्मदाश्रयः ।

असंशयं समग्रं मां यथा ज्ञास्यसि तच्छृणु ॥

ஶ்ரீபகவானுவாச ।

மய்யாஸக்தமந: பார்த்த யோகம் யுஞ்ஜந்மதாஶ்ரய: ।

அஸம்சயம் ஸமக்ரம் மாம் யதா ஜ்ஞாஸ்யஸி தச்ச்ருணு ॥

mayy āsakta-manāḥ pārtha yogaṁ yuñjan mad-āśrayaḥ ।

asaṁśayaṁ samagraṁ māṁ yathā jñāsyasi tac chṛṇu ॥

Meaning / Summary¶

இந்த ஸ்லோகம், பகவானை முழுமையாக அறிய பக்தி மற்றும் யோகத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை வலியுறுத்துகிறது. மனதை பகவானிடம் நிலைநிறுத்தி, அவனை சரணடைவதன் மூலம் மட்டுமே சந்தேகமின்றி அவனை அறிய முடியும்.

ஸ்ரீ பகவான் கூறினார்: பார்த்தா, என் மீது மனதை நிலைநிறுத்தி, என்னை மட்டுமே புகலிடமாகக் கொண்டு யோகம் பயில்வதால், நீ என்னை முழுமையாக எவ்வாறு சந்தேகமின்றி அறிவாய் என்பதை கேள்.

பகவான் கூறுகிறார்: பார்த்தா, என்னில் மனதை செலுத்தி, என்னை சரணடைந்து யோகம் பயில்வதன் மூலம் என்னை முழுமையாக அறிவது எப்படி என்பதை கேள்.

பகவான் ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணர் அர்ஜுனனிடம் கூறுகிறார்: ஓ பார்த்தா, நீ உன் மனதை என்னில் நிலைநிறுத்தி, என்னை மட்டுமே கதியாக அடைந்து, யோகப் பயிற்சியில் ஈடுபடுவதன் மூலம், என்னை எவ்வாறு முழுமையாக, எந்தவித சந்தேகமும் இல்லாமல் அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியும் என்பதை நான் உனக்குக் கூறுகிறேன், கேள்.

This verse highlights the importance of devotion and Yoga in understanding the Divine. It emphasizes that by fixing one’s mind on the Lord and taking refuge in Him, one can attain complete knowledge, free from doubt.

The Supreme Lord said: Now hear, O Partha, how by practicing Yoga in full consciousness of Me, with your mind attached to Me, you can know Me completely, free from all doubt.

The Lord speaks about how one can know Him completely by practicing Yoga with a mind attached to Him and taking refuge in Him.

Lord Krishna addresses Arjuna, explaining that by fixing his mind on Him (Krishna), taking refuge in Him alone, and practicing Yoga, Arjuna can know Him in totality, without any doubt. This verse sets the stage for Krishna to reveal the knowledge of His true nature and how devotion and Yoga can lead to complete understanding.

என்னில் மனதை நிலைநிறுத்திய பார்த்தா

O Partha, with your mind attached to Me.

Meaning of Words¶

मयि	மயி		mayi
மயி என்னில், என்னிடத்தில்		in Me In Me; in relation to Me.
आसक्त	ஆஸக்த		āsakta
ஆஸக்த ஈடுபாடு கொண்ட, பற்றுள்ள		attached Attached; deeply engaged; fixed upon.

மனா: மனம், சிந்தை		mind Mind; the faculty of consciousness and thought.

Meaning¶

என்னை புகலிடமாகக் கொண்டு யோகம் பயில்வதால்.

By practicing Yoga, taking refuge in Me.

योगं	யோகம்		yogaṁ
யோகம், ஆன்மீக பயிற்சி, தியானம்		Yoga; spiritual practice; union with the divine.
युञ्जन्	யுஞ்ஜன்		yuñjan
யுஞ்ஜன் பயில்கிற, பயிற்சி செய்கிற		practicing Practicing; performing; engaging in.
मद्	மத்		mad
மத் என்னை, என்னிடத்தில்		My; belonging to Me.
आश्रयः	ஆஶ்ரய:		āśrayaḥ
ஆச்ரய: புகலிடம், சரணாகதி		refuge Refuge; shelter; dependence.

சந்தேகமின்றி, முழுமையாக நீ என்னை எப்படி அறிவாய் என்பதை கேள்.

Hear now how you can know Me completely, free from all doubt.

Meaning of Words¶

असंशयं	அஸம்சயம்		asaṁśayaṁ
அஸம்சயம் சந்தேகமின்றி, நிச்சயமற்ற தன்மை இல்லாமல்		without doubt Without doubt; certainly; undoubtedly.
समग्रं	ஸமக்ரம்		samagraṁ
ஸமக்ரம் முழுமையாக, எல்லாவற்றையும் உள்ளடக்கிய		completely Completely; entirely; wholly.
मां	மாம்		māṁ
மாம் என்னை		Me; Myself.
यथा	யதா		yathā
யதா		how How; in what manner; as.
ज्ञास्यसि	ஜ்ஞாஸ்யஸி		jñāsyasi
ஜ்ஞாஸ்யஸி அறிவாய், தெரிந்து கொள்வாய்		you will know You will know; you shall understand.
तत्	தத்		tat
தத் அதை, அதைப்பற்றி		that That; therefore; so.
