श्रीभगवानुवाच ।

अनाश्रितः कर्मफलं कार्यं कर्म करोति यः ।

स संन्यासी च योगी च न निरग्निर्न चाक्रियः ॥

அனாஶ்ரித: கர்மபலம் கார்யம் கர்ம கரோதி ய: ।

ஸ ஸந்ந்யாஸீ ச யோகீ ச ந நிரக்நிர்ந சாக்கிரிய: ॥

Meaning / Summary¶

இந்த ஸ்லோகம் கர்ம யோகத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை வலியுறுத்துகிறது. பலனை எதிர்பாராமல் கடமையைச் செய்வதே உண்மையான ஆன்மீக சாதனையாகும்.

ஸ்ரீ பகவான் கூறுகிறார்: யார் கர்ம பலனை விரும்பாமல், விதிக்கப்பட்ட கடமையைச் செய்கிறாரோ, அவரே சந்நியாசி மற்றும் யோகி. நெருப்பைத் துறந்தவனும், செயல்களைச் செய்யாதவனும் அல்ல.

பகவான் கூறுகிறார், கர்ம பலனில் பற்று இல்லாமல் கடமையைச் செய்பவனே சந்நியாசி மற்றும் யோகி. நெருப்பைத் துறந்து செயல்களை செய்யாதவன் அல்ல.

பகவான் ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணர் அர்ஜுனனுக்கு உபதேசிக்கும்போது, ஒருவன் தனது கடமைகளை எப்படி நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும் என்பதை விளக்குகிறார். யார் தனது செயல்களின் விளைவுகளைப் பற்றி கவலைப்படாமல், பலனை எதிர்பாராமல் தனது கடமைகளைச் செய்கிறானோ, அவன் உண்மையான சந்நியாசியாகவும், யோகியாகவும் கருதப்படுகிறான். வெறும் நெருப்பைத் துறந்துவிட்டு எந்த வேலையும் செய்யாமல் இருப்பவன் சந்நியாசியோ அல்லது யோகியோ அல்ல.

This verse emphasizes the importance of Karma Yoga, highlighting that performing one’s duty without attachment to the results is the true spiritual practice.

The Supreme Lord said: One who performs his duty without attachment to the results of his actions is a true renunciant and a yogi, not one who abstains from fire and action.

Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna how one should perform their duties. He states that a person who performs their prescribed duty without being attached to the fruits of their actions, is the true renunciant (Sanyasi) and a yogi. One is not considered a renunciant or a yogi by merely giving up fire and ceasing all activity.

யார் கர்ம பலனை விரும்பாமல், செய்ய வேண்டிய கடமையைச் செய்கிறாரோ,

अनाश्रितः	அனாஶ்ரித:		anāśritaḥ
எந்த விதமான ஆசையும் இல்லாமல், பற்று இல்லாமல்.		Without taking shelter Independent of, without relying on, free from attachment.
कर्मफलम्	கர்மபலம்		karma-phalaṁ
செயல்களின் பலன் செயல்களின் விளைவு, கர்மாவின் விளைவு.		Result of action The fruit or consequence of one’s actions.
कार्यम्	கார்யம்		kāryaṁ
செய்ய வேண்டியது செய்யத் தகுந்தது, செய்ய வேண்டிய கடமை.		Duty That which ought to be done, prescribed duty.
कर्म	கர்ம		karma
செயல் வினை, கர்மம், தொழில்.		Action Work, deed, activity.
करोति	கரோதி		karoti
செய்கிறான் செய்கின்றானோ, நிறைவேற்றுகிறான்.		Performs Does, executes, carries out.

Meaning¶

அவரே சந்நியாசி மற்றும் யோகி. நெருப்பைத் துறந்தவனும், செயல்களைச் செய்யாதவனும் அல்ல.

He is a true renunciant and a yogi, not one who abstains from fire and action.
