इदं ज्ञानमुपाश्रित्य मम साधर्म्यमागताः ।

सर्गेऽपि नोपजायन्ते प्रलये न व्यथन्ति च ॥

idaṁ jñānam upāśritya mama sādharmyam āgatāḥ ।

sarge ’pi nopajāyante pralaye na vyathanti cha ॥

Meaning / Summary

हा श्लोक ज्ञानाचे महत्त्व आणि त्याचे अंतिम ध्येय स्पष्ट करतो. जे ज्ञान प्राप्त करतात, ते जन्म-मृत्यूच्या बंधनातून मुक्त होतात आणि भगवंताच्या स्वरूपाला प्राप्त करतात.

ज्या मनुष्यांनी या ज्ञानाचा आश्रय घेतला आहे, ते माझ्यासारखेच स्वरूप प्राप्त करून घेतात. त्यामुळे सृष्टीच्या कल्पात त्यांचा पुनर्जन्म होत नाही आणि प्रलयाच्या वेळी ते दुःखी होत नाहीत.

ज्यांनी या ज्ञानाचा आश्रय घेतला, ते माझ्या स्वरूपाला प्राप्त होतात. त्यांना सृष्टीच्या वेळी जन्म नाही आणि प्रलयाच्या वेळी दुःख नाही.

ज्या व्यक्तींनी या (माझ्याद्वारे दिलेल्या) ज्ञानाचा स्वीकार केला आहे, ते माझ्यासारखेच बनतात, म्हणजे ते माझ्यासारखेच शांती आणि आनंद अनुभवतात. अशा व्यक्तींना सृष्टीच्या चक्रात पुन्हा जन्म घ्यावा लागत नाही, कारण ते जन्म-मृत्यूच्या पलीकडे गेलेले असतात. तसेच, जेव्हा प्रलय येतो, तेव्हा त्यांना कोणतीही पीडा होत नाही, कारण ते आत्म-साक्षात्काराच्या स्थितीत स्थिर झालेले असतात.

This verse highlights the importance of knowledge and its ultimate goal. Those who attain this knowledge are liberated from the cycle of birth and death and attain the nature of the Divine.

Those who, taking refuge in this wisdom, attain to My own nature, are neither born at the time of creation nor distressed at the time of dissolution.

Those who take refuge in this knowledge attain My nature. They are not born at the time of creation and are not distressed at the time of dissolution.

Individuals who embrace this knowledge (that I have imparted) become similar to Me, experiencing peace and joy akin to Mine. Such beings are not reborn during the time of creation, as they have transcended the cycle of birth and death. Furthermore, they are not afflicted by suffering during the time of dissolution, because they are firmly established in the state of self-realization.

या ज्ञानाचा आश्रय घेतल्याने, ते माझ्यासारखे स्वरूप प्राप्त करतात.

Taking refuge in this knowledge, they attain similarity to Me.

सृष्टीच्या वेळी ते जन्म घेत नाहीत आणि प्रलयाच्या वेळी ते व्यथित होत नाहीत.
