अक्षरं ब्रह्म परमं स्वभावोऽध्यात्ममुच्यते ।

भूतभावोद्भवकरो विसर्गः कर्मसंज्ञितः ॥

हा श्लोक भगवतगीतेतील एक महत्त्वाचा भाग आहे, कारण तो जीवनातील मूलभूत तत्त्वे स्पष्ट करतो. ब्रह्म, अध्यात्म आणि कर्म यांच्या ज्ञानाने मनुष्य मोक्षाकडे वाटचाल करू शकतो.

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण म्हणाले: ‘अक्षर ब्रह्म हे परम आहे, स्वतःचा स्वभाव म्हणजे अध्यात्म होय, आणि भूतमात्रांना उत्पन्न करणारा विसर्ग म्हणजे कर्म होय.’

या श्लोकात भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ब्रह्म, अध्यात्म आणि कर्म या तीन गोष्टींविषयी सांगतात.

या श्लोकात, भगवान श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुनाला ब्रह्म, अध्यात्म आणि कर्म या तीन मूलभूत संकल्पनांची माहिती देतात. ते म्हणतात की अक्षर ब्रह्म हे अंतिम सत्य आहे, ते अविनाशी आणि अपरिवर्तनीय आहे. अध्यात्म म्हणजे स्वतःचा स्वभाव, म्हणजे आत्मज्ञान आणि आत्म-साक्षात्कार. कर्म म्हणजे भूतमात्रांना (प्राणी मात्रांना) जन्म देणारी क्रिया, म्हणजे यज्ञ, दान, तप इत्यादी.

This shloka is an important part of the Bhagavad Gita because it clarifies fundamental principles of life. With the knowledge of Brahman, adhyātma, and karma, a person can progress towards liberation.

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: The indestructible, transcendental living entity is called Brahman, and one’s own self is called adhyātma. Action pertaining to the development of these material bodies is called karma, or fruitive activities.
