मम योनिर्महद् ब्रह्म तस्मिन्गर्भं दधाम्यहम् ।

सम्भवः सर्वभूतानां ततो भवति भारत ॥

മമ യോനിർമഹദ് ബ്രഹ്മ തസ്മിൻ ഗർഭം ദധാമ്യഹം ।

സംഭവം സർവ്വഭൂതാനാം തതോ ഭവതി ഭാരത ॥

mama yonir mahad brahma tasmin garbham dadhāmy aham ।

sambhavaḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ tato bhavati bhārata ॥

Meaning / Summary¶

ഈ ശ്ലോകം പ്രകൃതിയും ഈശ്വരനും തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയുന്നു. പ്രകൃതി മാതാവായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, ഈശ്വരൻ പിതാവായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. എല്ലാ ജീവജാലങ്ങളുടെയും ഉത്ഭവത്തിന് ഈശ്വരന്റെ ശക്തി ആവശ്യമാണ് എന്ന് ഇത് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

മഹത്തായ ബ്രഹ്മം എനിക്ക് ഗർഭപാത്രമാണ്; അതിൽ ഞാൻ ബീജം നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നു. ഭാരത, സർവ്വഭൂതജാലങ്ങളുടെയും ഉത്ഭവം അതിൽ നിന്നാണ്.

ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ പറയുന്നു: മഹത്തായ ബ്രഹ്മം എൻ്റെ ഗർഭപാത്രമാണ്. ഞാൻ അതിൽ ബീജം നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാ ജീവജാലങ്ങളുടെയും ഉത്ഭവം അതിൽ നിന്നാണ്.

ഈ ശ്ലോകത്തിൽ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ തൻ്റെയും പ്രകൃതിയുടെയും ബന്ധം വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. മഹത്തായ ബ്രഹ്മം അഥവാ പ്രകൃതി, ഭഗവാൻ്റെ ഗർഭപാത്രമായി വർത്തിക്കുന്നു. ഭഗവാൻ അതിൽ ജീവൻറെ ബീജം നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ സർവ്വ ചരാചരങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു. ഭാരതവംശജനായ അർജ്ജുനനെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട്, ഈ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവ രഹസ്യം ഭഗവാൻ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

This verse speaks about the relationship between nature and God. Nature is considered the mother, and God is considered the father. It indicates that the power of God is necessary for the origin of all living beings.

The great Brahman is My womb; in that I cast the seed. From that, O Bharat, is the birth of all beings.

Krishna says: The great Brahman is My womb. I cast the seed into it. From that is the birth of all beings.

In this verse, Lord Krishna explains the relationship between Himself and Prakriti (nature). The great Brahman, or Prakriti, serves as the womb for the Lord. The Lord deposits the seed of life in it. Thus, all beings are born. Addressing Arjuna as Bharat, the Lord reveals the secret of the origin of the universe.

ഭാരത, സർവ്വഭൂതജാലങ്ങളുടെയും ഉത്ഭവം അതിൽ നിന്നാണ്.

From that, O Bharat, is the birth of all beings.
