भवाप्ययौ हि भूतानां श्रुतौ विस्तरशो मया ।

त्वत्तः कमलपत्राक्ष माहात्म्यमपि चाव्ययम् ॥

ഭവാപ്യയൗ ഹി ഭൂതാനാം ശ്രുതൗ വിസ്തരശോ മയാ ।

ത്വത്തഃ കമലപത്രാക്ഷ മാഹാത്മ്യമപി ചാവ്യയമ് ॥

ഈ ശ്ലോകം, ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണന്റെ ദിവ്യത്വത്തെയും, പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിലുള്ള എല്ലാ ജീവജാലങ്ങളുടെയും ഉത്ഭവത്തെയും നാശത്തെയും നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കഴിവിനെയും എടുത്തു കാണിക്കുന്നു.

എല്ലാ ജീവജാലങ്ങളുടെയും ഉത്ഭവത്തെയും നാശത്തെയും കുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ വിശദമായി കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. താമരയിതൾ പോലെയുള്ള കണ്ണുകളുള്ള അങ്ങയുടെ മാറ്റമില്ലാത്ത മഹത്വത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.

അർജ്ജുനൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനോട്, എല്ലാ ജീവജാലങ്ങളുടെയും ഉത്ഭവത്തെയും നാശത്തെയും കുറിച്ചും, ഭഗവാന്റെ മാറ്റമില്ലാത്ത മഹത്വത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും കേട്ടറിഞ്ഞതായി പറയുന്നു.

അർജ്ജുനൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനോട് പറയുന്നു: അല്ലയോ താമരയിതളുകൾ പോലെയുള്ള കണ്ണുകളുള്ള ഭഗവാനേ, എല്ലാ ജീവജാലങ്ങളുടെയും ഉത്ഭവത്തെയും, അവയുടെ നാശത്തെയും കുറിച്ചുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ അങ്ങയിൽ നിന്നും വളരെ വിശദമായി കേട്ടറിഞ്ഞു. അതുകൂടാതെ അങ്ങയുടെ ഒരിക്കലും ക്ഷയിക്കാത്ത മാഹാത്മ്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും ഞാൻ മനസ്സിലാക്കി.
