भूय एव महाबाहो श‍ृणु मे परमं वचः ।

यत्तेऽहं प्रीयमाणाय वक्ष्यामि हितकाम्यया ॥

ഭൂയ ഏവ മഹാബാഹോ ശൃണു മേ പരമം വചഃ ।

യത്തേഽഹം പ്രീയമാണായ വക്ഷ്യാമി ഹിതകാമ്യയാ ॥

bhūya eva mahā-bāho śṛṇu me paramaṁ vacaḥ ।

yat te ’haṁ prīyamāṇāya vakṣyāmi hita-kāmyayā ॥

Meaning / Summary

ഈ ശ്ലോകം ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനും അർജ്ജുനനുമായുള്ള ബന്ധത്തിന്റെ ആഴം വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. ഭഗവാൻ തൻ്റെ ഭക്തനോടുള്ള സ്നേഹവും കരുണയും ഇവിടെ പ്രകടമാക്കുന്നു. കൂടാതെ ആത്മീയമായ അറിവ് നേടുന്നതിന് വിനയവും ശ്രദ്ധയും ആവശ്യമാണെന്നും ഈ ശ്ലോകം ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

ശ്രീ ഭഗവാൻ പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലയോ മഹാബാഹുവായ അർജ്ജുനാ, എന്റെ പരമമായ വചനം വീണ്ടും കേൾക്കുക. നിന്നോടുള്ള സ്നേഹം കാരണം, നിന്റെ നന്മ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ അത് നിന്നോട് പറയുന്നു.

ശ്രീ കൃഷ്ണൻ അർജ്ജുനനോട് താൻ പറയാൻ പോകുന്ന വാക്കുകൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാൻ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നു. അർജ്ജുനനോടുള്ള സ്നേഹവും, അവന്റെ നന്മ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതിനാലുമാണ് ഈ വാക്കുകൾ പറയുന്നതെന്നും പറയുന്നു.

ശ്രീ കൃഷ്ണൻ അർജ്ജുനനോട് പറയുന്നു: അല്ലയോ മഹാശക്തനായ അർജ്ജുനാ, ഞാൻ പറയുന്ന ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട വാക്കുകൾ വീണ്ടും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക. നിന്റെ സന്തോഷത്തിലും, അഭിവൃദ്ധിയിലും എനിക്ക് അതിയായ താല്പര്യമുണ്ട്. അതിനാൽ നിനക്ക് നന്മയുണ്ടാകാൻ വേണ്ടി ഞാൻ ഈ രഹസ്യം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

This verse highlights the deep bond between Lord Krishna and Arjuna, emphasizing the Lord’s affection and concern for His devotee. It also underscores the importance of humility and attentiveness in receiving spiritual knowledge.

The Supreme Lord said: O mighty-armed Arjuna, listen again to My supreme word, which I shall speak to you for your welfare, because you are very dear to Me.

ശ്രീ ശോഭയുള്ള, ഐശ്വര്യമുള്ള, ഭാഗ്യമുള്ള, ഇത് ബഹുമാനത്തെയും സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.			The Supreme, glorious, beautiful Signifies auspiciousness, glory, and beauty. It is an honorific title.
भगवान्		ഭഗവാൻ		bhagavān
ഭഗവാൻ സർവ്വ ശക്തനായ ദൈവം, എല്ലാ ഐശ്വര്യങ്ങളും നിറഞ്ഞവൻ.			The Lord, the possessor of all fortunes Refers to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, possessing all opulences, strength, fame, beauty, knowledge, and renunciation.
