एवं परम्पराप्राप्तमिमं राजर्षयो विदुः ।

स कालेनेह महता योगो नष्टः परन्तप ॥

ഏവം പരമ്പരാപ്രാപ്തമിമം രാജർഷയോ വിദുഃ സ കാലേനേഹ മഹതാ യോഗോ നഷ്ടഃ പരന്തപ ॥

Meaning / Summary

ഈ ശ്ലോകം ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യവും, അത് തലമുറകളിലേക്ക് കൈമാറ്റം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്റെ ആവശ്യകതയും എടുത്തു കാണിക്കുന്നു. കാലക്രമേണ ജ്ഞാനം നഷ്ടപ്പെടാനുള്ള സാധ്യതയും ഇതിൽ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

ഈ യോഗം പരമ്പരയായി കൈമാറ്റം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട് രാജർഷിമാർ അറിഞ്ഞു. അല്ലയോ പരന്തപാ, കാലക്രമേണ ഈ യോഗം ഇവിടെ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടുപോയി.

പാരമ്പര്യമായി ലഭിച്ച ഈ യോഗത്തെ രാജർഷിമാർ അറിഞ്ഞു. എന്നാൽ കാലക്രമേണ അത് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു.

ഈ ജ്ഞാനം ഗുരു-ശിഷ്യ പരമ്പരയിലൂടെ കൈമാറ്റം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട് രാജാക്കന്മാരായ ഋഷിമാർക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ഹേ അർജ്ജുനാ, കാലത്തിന്റെ സ്വാധീനം മൂലം ഈ യോഗം ഭൂമിയിൽ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടുപോയി.

This yoga was known by the royal sages, having been transmitted in disciplic succession. In due course of time, O Arjuna, that yoga was lost from this world.

This supreme science was received through the chain of disciplic succession, and the saintly kings understood it in that way. But in course of time, the succession was broken, therefore the science as it is appears to be lost.

ഇപ്രകാരം പരമ്പരയായി ലഭിച്ച ഈ യോഗത്തെ രാജർഷിമാർ അറിഞ്ഞു.

ഇതിനെ ഈ യോഗത്തെ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അറിവിനെ			This Referring to the knowledge or yoga being discussed.

രാജർഷിമാർ രാജാക്കന്മാരായ ഋഷിമാർ			Royal sages Kings who were also great sages or seers.

ആ യോഗം വളരെ കാലം കഴിഞ്ഞ് ഇവിടെ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു, അല്ലയോ പരന്തപ.
