ये त्वक्षरमनिर्देश्यमव्यक्तं पर्युपासते ।

सर्वत्रगमचिन्त्यञ्च कूटस्थमचलन्ध्रुवम् ॥

ಯೇ ತ್ವ್ ಅಕ್ಷರಮ್ ಅನಿರ್ದೇಶ್ಯಮ್ ಅವ್ಯಕ್ತಂ ಪರ್ಯುಪಾಸತೇ ।

ಸರ್ವತ್ರಗಮ್ ಅಚಿಂತ್ಯಂಚ ಕೂಟಸ್ಥಮ್ ಅಚಲಂಧ್ರುವಮ್ ॥

ye tvakṣaram anirdeśyam avyaktaṁ paryupāsate ।

sarvatragam acintyañca kūṭastham acalandhruvam ॥

Meaning / Summary¶

ಇದು ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮೋಪಾಸನೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಆದರೆ ಯಾರು ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಲುಕದ, ಅವ್ಯಕ್ತನಾದ, ಸರ್ವವ್ಯಾಪಿಯಾದ, ಅಚಿಂತ್ಯನಾದ, ಬದಲಾಗದ, ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಅಕ್ಷರ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ…

ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಅವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾದ, ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಲುಕದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುವವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.

ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ, ಭಗವಂತನು ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವ ಭಕ್ತರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಯಾರು ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೋಚರಿಸದ, ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗದ, ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಇರುವ, ಊಹೆಗೆ ನಿಲುಕದ, ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ, ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಸನಾತನವಾದ ಅಕ್ಷರ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅವರು ಸಹ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಲುಪುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

It explains the importance of worshipping the impersonal Brahman.

But those who fully worship the unmanifested, which is beyond the reach of the senses, all-pervading, inconceivable, unchanging, steady, and eternal…

This verse speaks about those who worship the unmanifested Brahman, which is beyond the reach of the senses.

In this verse, the Lord speaks of devotees who worship the impersonal, unmanifested Brahman. He says that those who worship the imperishable Brahman, which is beyond the reach of the senses, unmanifest, all-pervading, inconceivable, immutable, unwavering, and eternal, also attain Him.

ಆದರೆ ಯಾರು ಅಕ್ಷರ, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದ, ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ…

But those who worship the imperishable, indefinable, unmanifest…

Meaning of Words¶

ये	ಯೇ		ye
ಯಾರು ಯಾವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ಯಾವ ಜನರು.		Who Those who, which people.
तु	ತ್ವ್		tv
ಆದರೆ		But
अक्षरम्	ಅಕ್ಷರಮ್		akṣaram
ಅಕ್ಷರವಾದದ್ದು ನಾಶವಿಲ್ಲದ, ಬದಲಾಗದ, ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ.		Imperishable That which does not perish, the immutable, eternal Brahman.
अनिर्देश्यम्	ಅನಿರ್ದೇಶ್ಯಮ್		anirdeśyam
ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೋ, ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೋಚರಿಸದ.		Indefinable That which cannot be defined, beyond the reach of the senses.
अव्यक्तं	ಅವ್ಯಕ್ತಂ		avyaktaṁ
ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗದ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣದ, ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಲುಕದ.		Unmanifest Not visible to the eye, beyond the reach of the senses.
पर्युपासते	ಪರ್ಯುಪಾಸತೇ		paryupāsate
ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಆರಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.		Worship with devotion, meditate upon.

Meaning of Words¶

सर्वत्रगम्	ಸರ್ವತ್ರಗಮ್		sarvatragam
ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿರುವ, ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಡೆ ಇರುವ.		All-pervading Present everywhere, permeating all places.
अचिन्त्यञ्च	ಅಚಿಂತ್ಯಂಚ		acintyañca
ಚಿಂತಿಸಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ನಿಲುಕದ, ಯೋಚಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದ.		Inconceivable Beyond the power of the mind to grasp, unthinkable.
कूटस्थम्	ಕೂಟಸ್ಥಮ್		kūṭastham
ಕೂಟಸ್ಥ ಬದಲಾಗದ, ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ, ಒಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಂತೆ.		Unchanging Immutable, steadfast, like the peak of a mountain.
अचलन्	ಅಚಲನ್		acalan
ಚಲಿಸದ ಕದಲದ, ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ.		Immovable
ध्रुवम्	ಧ್ರುವಮ್		dhruvam
ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಸನಾತನ, ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬದಲಾಗದ.		Eternal, never changing.
