यो मामजमनादिं च वेत्ति लोकमहेश्वरम् ।

असम्मूढः स मर्त्येषु सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते ॥

ಯೋ ಮಾಮಜಮನಾದಿಂ ಚ ವೇತ್ತಿ ಲೋಕಮಹೇಶ್ವರಮ್ ।

ಅಸಮ್ಮೂಢಃ ಸ ಮರ್ತ್ಯೇಷು ಸರ್ವಪಾಪೈಃ ಪ್ರಮುಚ್ಯತೇ ॥

Meaning / Summary¶

ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಭಗವಂತನ ನಿಜ ಸ್ವರೂಪದ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಭಗವಂತನನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರಿಂದ ಮೋಹ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಯಾರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನ್ಮರಹಿತ, ಆದಿ ಇಲ್ಲದವನು ಮತ್ತು ಲೋಕಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಡೆಯನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಅವನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಹವಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ, ಭಗವಾನ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣನು ತನ್ನ ದೈವಿಕ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಅರಿತವನ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಯಾರು ಕೃಷ್ಣನನ್ನು ಜನ್ಮರಹಿತನೆಂದು, ಅಂದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟು ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು, ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೂಲನೆಂದು, ಅಂದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಆರಂಭವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ಇಡೀ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಒಡೆಯನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಅವರು ಮೋಹದಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮೋಹ ಎಂದರೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಭ್ರಮೆಗಳು. ಅಂತಹ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.

This verse emphasizes the importance of knowing the true nature of the Lord. Right knowledge of the Lord leads to freedom from delusion and sins.

He who knows Me as unborn, beginningless, and the Supreme Lord of all the worlds, he, undeluded among mortals, is freed from all sins.

In this verse, Lord Krishna describes the result of knowing his divine nature. One who knows Krishna as unborn, meaning he has no birth, and that he is beginningless, meaning he has no origin, and that he is the Supreme Lord of all the worlds, is freed from delusion. Delusion refers to wrong notions or illusions. Such a person is liberated from all kinds of sins and attains liberation.

ಅವನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಹವಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೆ.

He, undeluded among mortals, is freed from all sins.
