अहमादिर्हि देवानां महर्षीणां च सर्वशः ॥

ನ ಮೇ ವಿದುಃ ಸುರಗಣಾಃ ಪ್ರಭವಂ ನ ಮಹರ್ಷಯಃ ।

ಅಹಮಾದಿರ್ಹಿ ದೇವಾನಾಂ ಮಹರ್ಷೀಣಾಂ ಚ ಸರ್ವಶಃ ॥

Meaning / Summary¶

ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಭಗವಂತನ ಅನಂತತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವೋಚ್ಚತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವತೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳಂತಹ ಉನ್ನತ ಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದಂತಹ ಅತಿಮಾನುಷ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ದೇವತೆಗಳೂ ಅರಿಯರು, ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ಅರಿಯರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ನಾನು ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೂ, ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಆದಿ ಕಾರಣನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ, ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನು ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ತನ್ನ ಹುಟ್ಟಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಮೂಲ ಕಾರಣನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನು ಅರ್ಜುನನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ದೈವಿಕ ವೈಭವಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ತನ್ನ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲ ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಋಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಮೂಲ ಕಾರಣನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ, ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಲಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣನಾದ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಹುಟ್ಟಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲಿನವನು.

This verse highlights the infiniteness and supremacy of the Lord. It reveals the glory of Lord Krishna, whose divine power is beyond the comprehension of even the highest beings like gods and great sages.

Neither the hosts of gods nor the great seers know My origin, for, in every way, I am the source of all the gods and seers.

In this verse, Lord Krishna states that neither the gods nor the great sages know his origin, as he is the source of all of them.

Lord Krishna continues to reveal his divine glories to Arjuna, stating that neither the gods nor the great sages know his origin. This is because he is the primal cause of all the gods and sages. As the Supreme Being responsible for the creation, sustenance, and dissolution of the universe, His birth is beyond the comprehension of even the most enlightened beings, because He is the origin of everything.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೂ, ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿಧದಿಂದಲೂ ಆದಿ.

For, I am the origin of all the gods and great seers in every way.
