मम योनिर्महद् ब्रह्म तस्मिन्गर्भं दधाम्यहम् ।

सम्भवः सर्वभूतानां ततो भवति भारत ॥

Meaning / Summary

यह श्लोक भगवान कृष्ण की सृष्टि में भूमिका को स्पष्ट करता है। यह बताता है कि वे सभी जीवों के मूल कारण हैं और उनकी प्रकृति ही सभी प्राणियों की जन्मभूमि है।

हे भारत! मेरी महत् प्रकृति सम्पूर्ण प्राणियों की योनि है, और मैं उस योनि में बीज स्थापित करता हूँ, जिससे सब प्राणियों की उत्पत्ति होती है।

भगवान कृष्ण कहते हैं कि उनकी महान प्रकृति सभी प्राणियों की योनि है और वे उसमें बीज स्थापित करते हैं, जिससे सभी प्राणी उत्पन्न होते हैं।

इस श्लोक में भगवान कृष्ण अर्जुन को समझाते हैं कि किस प्रकार वे समस्त सृष्टि के जनक हैं। वे कहते हैं कि उनकी ‘महत् प्रकृति’ (महान प्रकृति) सभी प्राणियों की जन्मभूमि है। वे उस प्रकृति में बीज स्थापित करते हैं, जिससे सभी जीव उत्पन्न होते हैं। यहाँ ‘बीज’ का अर्थ है चेतना या आत्मा, जो भगवान का अंश है। इस प्रकार, भगवान कृष्ण ही सभी जीवों के मूल कारण हैं।

This verse clarifies the role of Lord Krishna in creation. It states that He is the root cause of all living beings, and His nature is the birthplace of all creatures.

O Bharata, My great nature is the womb of all beings; in that I cast the seed, from which all beings are born.

Lord Krishna says that His great nature is the womb of all beings, and He casts the seed into it, from which all beings are born.

In this verse, Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna how He is the progenitor of all creation. He says that His ‘Mahat Prakriti’ (great nature) is the womb of all beings. He casts the seed into that nature, from which all living beings are born. Here, ‘seed’ means consciousness or the soul, which is a part of God. Thus, Lord Krishna is the ultimate cause of all living beings.
