Meaning / Summary¶

આ શ્લોક દૈવી પ્રકૃતિના મહત્વપૂર્ણ પાસાઓ પર પ્રકાશ પાડે છે, જે વ્યક્તિને આધ્યાત્મિક માર્ગ પર આગળ વધવામાં મદદ કરે છે.

અહિંસા, સત્ય, ક્રોધનો અભાવ, ત્યાગ, શાંતિ, કોઈની નિંદા ન કરવી, જીવો પ્રત્યે દયા, લોભનો અભાવ, નમ્રતા, શરમ અને અસ્થિરતાનો અભાવ.

આ શ્લોકમાં દૈવી ગુણો ધરાવતા વ્યક્તિમાં હોવા જોઈએ તેવા અહિંસા, સત્ય, અક્રોધ, ત્યાગ, શાંતિ, અપૈશુન, દયા, અલોલુપ્તવ, માર્દવ, હ્રી અને અચાપલ જેવા ગુણોનું વર્ણન છે.

આ શ્લોકમાં ભગવાન કૃષ્ણ દૈવી સ્વભાવ ધરાવતા મનુષ્યોના કેટલાક વધુ ગુણો વર્ણવે છે. આ ગુણોમાં અહિંસા (કોઈ પણ જીવને નુકસાન ન પહોંચાડવું), સત્ય (હંમેશા સાચું બોલવું), ક્રોધનો અભાવ, ત્યાગ (વસ્તુઓનો મોહ છોડવો), શાંતિ (મનની શાંતિ જાળવવી), કોઈની નિંદા ન કરવી, દરેક જીવ પ્રત્યે દયા રાખવી, લોભથી દૂર રહેવું, નમ્રતાથી વર્તવું, ખરાબ કાર્યો કરવાથી શરમ અનુભવવી અને કોઈપણ કાર્યમાં અસ્થિરતા ન રાખવી વગેરેનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.

This shloka highlights important aspects of divine nature, which helps a person to progress on the spiritual path.

Non-violence, truthfulness, freedom from anger, renunciation, peacefulness, restraint from faultfinding, compassion towards all living beings, freedom from covetousness, gentleness, modesty, and freedom from restlessness.

This shloka describes the qualities of non-violence, truth, absence of anger, renunciation, peace, absence of fault-finding, compassion, absence of covetousness, gentleness, modesty, and absence of restlessness that should be present in a person possessing divine qualities.

In this shloka, Lord Krishna describes further qualities of those endowed with a divine nature. These qualities include non-violence (not causing harm to any living being), truthfulness (always speaking the truth), freedom from anger, renunciation (detachment from material possessions), peacefulness (maintaining tranquility of mind), refraining from malicious talk, compassion towards all beings, freedom from greed, gentleness, humility, and absence of fickleness.

અચાપલ અસ્થિરતાનો અભાવ, મનની ચંચળતાનો અભાવ, સ્થિરતા.		Absence of restlessness, absence of fickleness, steadiness.
