આ શ્લોક જ્ઞાનના મહત્વ પર ભાર મૂકે છે, ખાસ કરીને આત્મજ્ઞાનના મહત્વ પર. તે સૂચવે છે કે આત્મજ્ઞાન પ્રાપ્ત કરવું શક્ય છે અને તે મનુષ્યને મુક્તિ તરફ દોરી શકે છે.

આ જ્ઞાન બધા જ્ઞાનોમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ છે, બધા રહસ્યોમાં ગુહ્ય છે, પવિત્ર છે, ઉત્તમ છે, પ્રત્યક્ષ અનુભવથી જાણી શકાય તેવું છે, ધર્મમય છે, કરવું સરળ છે અને અવિનાશી છે.

આ જ્ઞાન સર્વશ્રેષ્ઠ, ગુહ્ય, પવિત્ર, અનુભવગમ્ય, ધર્મમય, સરળ અને અવિનાશી છે.

આ શ્લોકમાં ભગવાન શ્રી કૃષ્ણ જ્ઞાનની મહિમા વર્ણવે છે. તેઓ કહે છે કે આ જ્ઞાન સર્વશ્રેષ્ઠ છે, કારણ કે તે આત્મજ્ઞાન છે, જે મનુષ્યને મોક્ષ તરફ દોરી જાય છે. આ જ્ઞાન ગુહ્ય પણ છે, કારણ કે તે દરેકને સરળતાથી પ્રાપ્ત થતું નથી. તે પવિત્ર છે, કારણ કે તે મનને શુદ્ધ કરે છે. તે ઉત્તમ છે, કારણ કે તે મનુષ્યને પરમ શાંતિ અને આનંદ પ્રદાન કરે છે. આ જ્ઞાન પ્રત્યક્ષ અનુભવથી જાણી શકાય છે, એટલે કે વ્યક્તિ ધ્યાન અને યોગ દ્વારા આ જ્ઞાનનો અનુભવ કરી શકે છે. તે ધર્મમય છે, કારણ કે તે ધર્મના માર્ગ પર ચાલવામાં મદદ કરે છે. તે કરવું સરળ છે, કારણ કે તેના માટે કોઈ કઠોર નિયમોનું પાલન કરવાની જરૂર નથી. અને તે અવિનાશી છે, કારણ કે તે ક્યારેય નાશ પામતું નથી.
