मनुष्याणां सहस्रेषु कश्चिद्यतति सिद्धये ।

यततामपि सिद्धानां कश्चिन्मां वेत्ति तत्त्वतः ॥

મનુષ્યાણાં સહસ્રેશુ કશ્ચિદ્ યતતિ સિદ્ધયે ।

યતતામ્ અપિ સિદ્ધાનાં કશ્ચિન્ માં વેત્તિ તત્ત્વતઃ ॥

manuṣyāṇāṁ sahasreṣu kaścid yatati siddhaye ।

yatatām api siddhānāṁ kaścin māṁ vetti tattvataḥ ॥

Meaning / Summary

આ શ્લોક જ્ઞાનની દુર્લભતા અને તેને મેળવવા માટે જરૂરી સમર્પણ અને તપસ્યા પર ભાર મૂકે છે. તે દર્શાવે છે કે આધ્યાત્મિક માર્ગ સરળ નથી અને તેમાં સફળતા મેળવવા માટે ઘણા પ્રયત્નો કરવા પડે છે.

હજારો મનુષ્યોમાં કોઈ એક સિદ્ધિ માટે પ્રયત્ન કરે છે, અને પ્રયત્ન કરનારા સિદ્ધોમાં પણ કોઈક જ મને તત્ત્વથી જાણે છે.

આ શ્લોકમાં ભગવાન કૃષ્ણ કહે છે કે હજારો મનુષ્યોમાં કોઈ એક જ સિદ્ધિ માટે પ્રયત્ન કરે છે, અને સિદ્ધ થયેલા લોકોમાં પણ કોઈ એક જ તેમને તત્ત્વથી જાણે છે.

આ શ્લોકમાં ભગવાન કૃષ્ણ અર્જુનને કહે છે કે આધ્યાત્મિક માર્ગ પર ચાલનારાઓની સંખ્યા ઘણી ઓછી હોય છે. લાખો લોકોમાંથી કોઈ એક જ આત્મ-સાક્ષાત્કાર માટે પ્રયત્ન કરે છે, અને જેઓ પ્રયત્ન કરે છે તેમાં પણ કોઈ વિરલ વ્યક્તિ જ મને મારા સાચા સ્વરૂપમાં ઓળખી શકે છે. આ જ્ઞાન દુર્લભ છે અને તેને પ્રાપ્ત કરવા માટે સાચા સમર્પણ અને તપસ્યાની જરૂર છે.

This verse emphasizes the rarity of true knowledge and the dedication and penance required to attain it. It illustrates that the spiritual path is not easy and requires a lot of effort to succeed.

In this verse, Lord Krishna tells Arjuna that the number of people who walk the spiritual path is very small. Out of millions, only a rare one strives for self-realization, and even among those who strive, only a rare person truly knows Me in My true form. This knowledge is rare and requires true devotion and penance to attain.
