एवमेतद्यथात्थ त्वमात्मानं परमेश्वर ।
द्रष्टुमिच्छामि ते रूपमैश्वरं पुरुषोत्तम ॥

draṣṭum icchāmi te rūpam aiśvaraṁ puruṣottama ॥

Meaning / Summary¶
This verse marks a crucial turning point where Arjuna, having understood the theoretical exposition of Krishna’s cosmic form, now yearns for a direct, visual experience of it. It emphasizes the human desire to not only understand but also to perceive the divine reality.
O Supreme Lord, just as you have described yourself, I wish to see your divine form, O Supreme Person.
Arjuna expresses his desire to see the divine form of Krishna, as described by Krishna Himself.
Arjuna, now convinced by Krishna’s explanation of His cosmic form and realizing Krishna’s supreme nature, expresses his desire to visually perceive that very form. He acknowledges Krishna’s description of Himself as the ultimate reality and requests a direct manifestation of His divine, all-encompassing form. Arjuna addresses Krishna with reverence, acknowledging His supreme position and expressing his eagerness to witness the magnificent form that Krishna has described.
