मदनुग्रहाय परमं गुह्यमध्यात्मसंज्ञितम् ।

यत्त्वयोक्तं वचस्तेन मोहोऽयं विगतो मम ॥

Meaning / Summary

This verse marks a crucial turning point in the Bhagavad Gita. Arjuna, having witnessed Krishna’s cosmic form and heard His profound teachings, realizes the true nature of reality and is freed from his initial confusion and despair. It highlights the power of divine grace and spiritual knowledge in overcoming ignorance.

Arjuna said: By my being favored, the supremely confidential spiritual knowledge that You have spoken to me, this delusion of mine is gone.

Arjuna gratefully acknowledges that Krishna’s revealing of the supreme secret of spiritual knowledge has removed his delusion.

Arjuna expresses his gratitude to Krishna for revealing the supreme secret of spiritual knowledge. He acknowledges that this divine revelation, bestowed upon him as a mark of Krishna’s favor, has dispelled his ignorance and cleared his delusions.
