2.1. Mindset

There is a very famous proverb:

Chinese Proverb

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

To improve your productivity, you must nurture your mindset. You don’t have to change things overnight. But slowly and gradually, you must lean towards a different you, a better you.

2.1.1. Automation

One key aspect for improved productivity is automation. You must convince yourself that everything can be automated. Even if you are not aware of how exactly this can be automated, it’s OK. Or maybe you know a way to automate it, but your may fell it is very difficult for you. In such a case just explore avenues to how to decrease the difficulty, or take external help.

2.1.2. Toolbox

You need to increase the arsenal of your tools. You may wish to use a single Swiss army knife for all your issues. But that may not be possible. You may have to use a different tool for a different problem. But still, the right tool for the right job.

2.1.3. There’s always something to improve

Another famous proverb:

To err is human.

You are a human being, and you are not perfect. But take this sentence in a positive spirit. There is always a scope for improvement. There is always a scope of delivering exactly the same thing, but using better means. There is always a scope of delivering something much-much better by changing the methodology/approach/technique.

If you convince yourself that there is no need for any improvement, and we have reached our full potential, you will never be able to improve. Even if you have done exactly the same thing tens or hundreds of times, there must be some curiosity at the back of your mind, “is this the best you can do?

You can only improve if you allow yourself to improve.
